Liebster Award!

The Liebster Award is rewarded to up and coming blogs that currently have less than 200 followers. It's a way of getting to know different bloggers and to even discover new blogs. The German word Liebster, translates into English: Sweetest, which I found out from the blogger who nominated me. I just recently found out about this award about a month ago, and I'm excited that I was nominated for it. Thanks to Monique from Something to Browse, who nominated me!

The Rules
1. Link back to the person who nominated you

2.  Answer the 10 Liebster questions given to you by the nominee before you.

3. List 11 facts about yourself.

4. Pick 10 bloggers to be nominated for the award with fewer than 200 followers.

5. Create 10 questions for your nominees to answer.

6. Go notify your nominees on their blogs.

Q&A
1. Who is your favorite author?
My favorite author... this is a hard question because I don't have just one favorite author, but my top favorite authors are C. C. Hunter, Lauren DeStefano, Jennifer Estep, Jennifer L. Armentrout, Veronica Rossi, Beth Revis, Veronica Roth, Kristen Simmons, Tracey Ward, Jessica Brody, and Gregg Olsen.

2. Are you an introvert, extrovert, or ambivert?
I am a complete extrovert!

3. How many books do you have in your TBR pile?
According to Goodreads 1614... although a few books need to be taken off the list, and the list grows everyday. It's not my fault there are so many books out there that I want to read, and that I don't have the time to read them all in my short days.

4. Why did you decide to become a book blogger?
For a few different reasons. The first reason is to help promote authors by blog tours. The second reason is to meet other bloggers and have a way of discussing books, and finding out about new books. The third and final reason was to share books with other book lovers that I love so much!

5.  Besides reading and blogging, what are some of your favorite things to do in your spare time?
I grew up with an older brother, so I love playing sports and video games. I also love watching TV and movies, and writing my own books, poems, etc. Finally I love working with children, and love volunteering my time to help people.

6. If you could choose a fictional character to be your best friend, who would you choose, and why?
The list could go on and on and on. There are so many fictional characters that I love. The fictional character that I would choose to be my best friend would be Gwen Frost from the Mythos Academy Series by Jennifer Estep, because she is so much like me. She would do anything to protect her friends, and she doesn't give up on any of them through their tough times and struggles.

7. Do you play any type of sports? If so, which ones?
I finished my last year of soccer because of college. I had played for 13 years. I also was in dance, cheerleading, and baton (twirling). I currently do not play any sports, but I definitely miss soccer (at least I can still watch it).

8. Are there any books that you regret reading?
Hmm... I won't list any books I read for school, but Unbearable Book Club for Unsinkable Girls by Julie Schumacher, An Abundance of Katherines by John Green, and A Dance with Tilly by Daniel Kelley.

9. What's your favorite type of food?
My favorite type of food is chocolate... of course! :)

10. Out of all the books you've ever read, what three books would you most recommend?
Well the first book would be Touch of Frost (Mythos Academy #1) by Jennifer Estep, the second book would be Writing on the Wall (Survival Series #1) by Tracey Ward, and the final book would be Unremembered (Unremembered #1) by Jessica Brody. This was a very hard choice of books because I have read so many fantastic books.

  1. Haha! I love this award because I get to learn interesting things about awesome bloggers. lol! You hated an abundance of Katherines? I think it's the only John Green book that I genuinely liked for the story. I still haven't read TFIOS. Also, Unremembered is on my TBR list. I can't wait to get to it! :)

    1. Yea, I for some reason just could not get into it, and I think the only reason I pushed on was because two of my friends asked me to read it (we each picked out a book, read it, then passed it on to the other two). I am currently reading TFIOS, I want to finish it before I see the movie, and Unremembered is an excellent book. I still have yet to read the second one in that series - although it's sitting on my table, begging me to pick it up. Lol
